Wastewater Operator I

The Wastewater Treatment Department is recruiting for "Wastewater Operator I/." Summary of Duties The Wastewater Operator is responsible for assisting in the complete operations of the wastewater treatment facilities in a manner that ensures safe and properly treated wastewater in accordance with standards, legal requirements, and City policy. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 2 years of utility or plumbing experience preferred. Required to have a Class "C" Texas Driver's License. Valid Class "D" Wastewater Treatment Operations Certification through TCEQ or ability to obtain within 1 year.
