Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 26 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Length - 13 Weeks or 26 Weeks - Traveler's Choice Start Date:ASAP Shift: 3x12x or 4x12s (traveler's choice) Night Shift Years of Experience: 1 First Timers Accepted: Yes Certs REQ: BLS Skills REQ: Per UD Is on-call REQ: No Weekend REQ:Weekend coverage could be more frequent than every other and is subject to staffing needs. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?: Yes- may float to like units Open to accommodating block schedule?: No Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks UNIT INFORMATION Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model is utilized on this unit. For every patient there is 1 bedside RN, 1 Virtual RN, and 1 CNA. Beside RN and CNA patient ratios are 1:6 The virtual nurse works remotely and assists patient with admission questions, discharge education, care plans, education, CIWA, following up with MD along with a plethora of other tasks that can be delegated to them.
