Lixiscope Ultrasound Technician, 1st Shift - Grand Meadow Farms (Spavinaw, OK)

Job Title

This position is responsible for evaluating every pedigree candidate for breast meat yield and dimensional analysis using ultrasound. Responsibilities include evaluating each pedigree candidate for skeletal deformities using X-ray equipment to ensure pedigree breeders are free of skeletal defects; transporting and maintaining the ultrasound computer, ultrasound machine, and X-ray unit; assessing breast meat yield and dimensional measurements; identifying skeletal deformities; and performing necropsies on pedigree candidates found to be defective to confirm the defect.

Requirements:

• Education: Requires knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, office equipment, and business practices. Knowledge is typically acquired through four years of high school, vocational school, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1+ years of related experience required.
• Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Specialized Skills: Work activities are variable and require sound judgment to complete tasks, including setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others.
