Job Type: Part‑time About the Role A cross‑trained Medical Assistant who supports both clinical tasks and front‑desk operations. The role involves providing clinical and administrative support, assisting with patient care management, and facilitating effective communication between patients and providers. The position requires travel to Kirkland and Everett locations as needed. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services Check with patients and type up patient charts Assist during medical examinations Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Requirements Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service‑oriented attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient‑management software Certification from an approved medical assistant program preferred, or equivalent combination of training High‑school diploma or equivalent Current American Heart Association CPR certification preferred Willingness to register with Washington state EMR experience; Athena experience is a plus Medical Specialties Podiatry Surgery Benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans HSA with employer contribution FSA Generous PTO program 401(k) with 4% match Employee Assistance Program Life and AD&D insurance Short‑term and long‑term disability insurance Salary $23.00 - $26.00/hr #J-18808-Ljbffr Weil Foot & Ankle Institute
