Digital communications specialist

Position Overview We are looking for an innovative Digital Communications Specialist to champion our health and wellness education initiatives. In this role, you will create, manage, and strategize engaging, highly accessible digital content for our clients and plan members across multiple platforms. Core Responsibilities Content & Strategy: Develop compelling, inclusive health and wellness content for websites, mobile apps, social media, and new digital products. Accessibility & Compliance: Ensure all materials meet strict health literacy, plain language, and digital accessibility (WCAG) standards. Digital Marketing: Manage corporate social media profiles (Facebook, X, LinkedIn) and optimize digital content for SEO. Analytics: Track and analyze campaign performance, email effectiveness, and portal metrics to drive continuous improvement. Collaboration: Partner with IT to prototype, test, and launch new digital communication offerings. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of digital/consumer communications experience; healthcare or wellness industry background is highly preferred. Skills: Proven expertise in SEO, social media management, content analytics, and creating accessible digital content. salary: $27.72 - $27.73 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 6 PM education: High School Responsibilities Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore (3+ years) Proven experience in web and/or digital content management, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry (3+ years) Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric mindset and attention to detail.
