IT Support Specialist – Sugarbush Resort Sugarbush Resort is a year‑round destination offering a full range of recreational and hospitality services. We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to help maintain and support our IT technologies. Position Summary This full‑time, year‑round role focuses on learning and supporting Sugarbush’s wide range of IT technologies. The ideal candidate has experience, certifications, and a strong passion for technology and a desire to grow in areas such as Systems Administration, Network Administration or Cyber Security. Salary: $55,000–$60,000 per year. Responsibilities Provide customer support through direct interaction, answering calls, and responding to tickets. Assist with project support, distributing, installing, and configuring IT equipment. Support peripherals, computers, RFID gates, Wi‑Fi systems, network switches, and software via calls and ticketing. Operate and support conference room AV technology, resort audio systems, webcams, security cameras, network PA system, digital signage, projectors, video walls, TVs, streaming devices, and cable boxes. Maintain IT management systems related to security, network, and system monitoring. Work with Azure, Intune, Exchange, SCCM, and Active Directory. Participate in infrastructure and cabling projects. Perform daily operational checks to ensure all systems function properly. Activate and deactivate user accounts. Apply firmware and software updates on AV and IT equipment. Assist with inventory management and systems documentation. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting IT technologies with a foundational understanding of network concepts. Preferred IT certifications. Experience troubleshooting IT systems, Wi‑Fi technologies, and computer hardware peripherals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Teams. Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills. Awareness of cyber‑security best practices. Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain additional training for off‑road vehicles or snow machines if required. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings; ability to lift and move equipment up to 20lb. Preferred skiing or snowboarding ability.
