About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Data Analyst who is far more than a report builder. You are a "Data Detective" who understands the heartbeat of our business operations and marketing efforts.

Because our Analytics team operates as a highly collaborative internal service department, you will act as a critical partner to three distinct functions: our Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Brand Marketing teams. You will not just analyze data; you will own the truth behind our Inventory, CS performance, and Brand Strategy. We need a versatile Data Master who understands the nuances of ERP platforms (Odoo) for inventory, ticketing platforms for CS, and the strategic planning required to support a marketing-driven Brand team.

What You’ll Do

1. Inventory & Supply Chain Analytics

• Predictive Forecasting: Build and maintain models to predict inventory depletion rates and recommend optimal times to place additional Purchase Orders (POs) across our brand portfolio.
• Platform Mastery: Ingest, clean, and analyze complex datasets from our ERP (Odoo) to provide granular insights on stock levels, lead times, and fulfillment efficiency.
• Supply Chain Support: Track and report on core inventory management metrics, empowering the operations team to prevent stockouts, reduce overstock, and optimize cash flow.

2. Brand Strategy & Marketing Analytics

• Promotion & Targeting Analysis: Partner with the Brand Marketing team to analyze the ROI of promotions, targeted campaigns, and overall brand initiatives. Help the team understand what messaging, look, and feel is resonating with our customers.
• New Product Launches: Support the strategy and planning phases of new product launches by providing historical data analysis, forecasting initial demand, and tracking early performance metrics.
• Strategic Planning: Empower the brand team with actionable data for audience segmentation, market positioning, and long-term marketing strategy.

3. Customer Service Analytics

• CS Performance Tracking: Analyze data from our Customer Service platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Gorgias) to track contact rates, ticket resolution times, and customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
• Operational Optimization: Identify friction points in the customer experience by connecting CS ticket data with fulfillment and inventory metrics, acting as the lead investigator for service-level drops.

4. Data Transformation & Visualization

• Data Preparation: While we have a Data Engineer managing the infrastructure, you will handle the "last mile" of data prep. You will use KNIME or dbt (or similar tools like Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or Python/Pandas) to clean, merge, and format data for specific analyses.
• Business Logic Application: Write efficient SQL to transform raw log-level data in Snowflake into usable datasets that reflect our specific business rules.
• Dashboarding: Design, build, and maintain high-impact dashboards in Sigma . You will translate complex SQL queries into visual stories tailored for specific stakeholders in Brand, CS, and Inventory.

What We’re Looking For

The Essentials (Experience & Tech Stack)

• Experience Level: 3+ years of specific Data Analysis experience. (We are not looking for Junior Analysts or Senior Data Architects; we need a hands-on mid-level executor).
• Industry: Proven experience in DTC E-commerce is required. You must be fluent in Shopify and Amazon Seller Central data schemas.
• Warehousing & BI: Strong proficiency with Snowflake (SQL) and Sigma (building robust dashboards and workbooks).
• Transformation Tools: Competency in KNIME or dbt is preferred, but we are open to candidates experienced with Alteryx, Prep, or Python who can adapt quickly.
• ELT Familiarity: Awareness of how ELT tools (like Hevo, Fivetran, Airbyte, Azure, etc.) function, so you can communicate effectively with our Data Engineer when pipeline adjustments are needed.

The "Tri-Department Support" Skill Set

• You are deeply versed in the ecommerce data schemas and Customer Service ticketing platforms, understanding how to extract and model complex operational data.
• You have experience supporting marketing or brand teams with performance analytics, targeting metrics, and tracking the success of new product launches.
• You have hands-on experience conducting inventory forecasting, PO timing predictions, and supply chain metric tracking.

The Strategic & Operations Mindset

• You are comfortable bouncing between supply chain metrics (turnover ratios, lead times) and marketing metrics (conversion rates, promotion ROI).
• You have the patience and precision to trace a product's lifecycle from the warehouse to the customer, while also analyzing the marketing strategies that drove the initial purchase and the customer service interactions that followed.
