Packaging Technician- 1st Shift

Catalent seeks a Packaging Technician for first-shift operations at its Philadelphia facility, supporting GMP clinical packaging and labeling services. The role involves inspection, assembly, and quality control of pharmaceutical packaging across multiple formats and environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect blister cavities, bottles, vials, syringes, and sealed cards for defects and contamination
• Perform hand counts and fill hoppers with tablets, closures, and desiccants
• Place blister units into assigned card locations for multi-fill operations
• Verify clinical labels for accuracy and 100% accountability across manual and automated applications
• Clean equipment, production areas, and perform sanitation using SOPs and three-bucket mop system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years production or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to read specifications, SOPs, and follow written/oral instructions accurately
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and meet vision requirements
• Willingness to work overtime and frequently in cold environments
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork in fast-paced manufacturing setting
