About the jobAs a food runner, you will be responsible for delivering orders to members accurately, efficiently and with a friendly demeanor. Our food runners are an integral and valued part of our member experience. Food runners will have the opportunity to work in the dining area, café, and our in-house bowling alley restaurant.ResponsibilitiesAssist servers in delivering food, and beverages to the tables.Communicate with members and guests to meet needs and accommodate requestsActively communicate with chefs and servers to ensure order accuracy and timeliness.Assist in clearing tables and making them ready for the next serviceQualificationsWillingness to learn and growAttention to detailProfessional in appearance and actionsService-orientedThe Food runner position is a high-energy role and as such, some physical demands of the position include:The ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods of timeThe use of hands to handle or feel and the ability to reach with hands and armThe ability to squat, bend, twist, and reach for items below waist level or above shouldersThe ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 50 poundsCertificationServsafe certification is a bonus but is not required for this position.Benefits for Part-Time EmployeesDaily mealsFree downtown parking and transportation assistanceCompensation & Work ScheduleMust be able to work shifts including opening and closing duties as scheduled/assigned.FSLA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly +Tips (Average total hourly compensation is $14-16/hr.)Shift Schedule: Any (M: 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Tues - Fri 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM; Sa 11:00 AM -10:00 PM)BackgroundThe Athletic Club of Columbus (ACC), is an iconic establishment.
