Job Description
Interventional Cardiac/Electrophysiology (EP) Cath Lab Nurse Job Overview The Interventional Cardiac/EP Cath Lab Nurse plays a vital role in providing specialized nursing care within a 24/7 Cardiac and Electrophysiology lab environment. This position involves indepth knowledge of advanced cardiovascular technologies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in various interventional procedures including balloon pump, Impella, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Inari, and Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR).
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and formulate appropriate nursing care plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation through Epic Cupid.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiac care.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to patient care.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience in a similar role or related field highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in cardiology and electrophysiology.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
