Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory organization, and material handling. This role requires experience operating a sit-down forklift and the ability to work at heights up to 25 feet while maintaining accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a full-time temporary opportunity for dependable candidates who are committed to safety, attendance, and participating fully in the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
- Pack and organize materials for outbound deliveries
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming inventory
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move and store materials safely
- Assist with inventory organization and warehouse housekeeping
- Read and follow work orders and pick sheets to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Support additional warehouse tasks as assigned by warehouse leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent warehouse experience
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders
- Ability to read and understand work orders and pick sheets
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and professional communication throughout the hiring process
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating stand-up forklifts or order pickers
- Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or order fulfillment
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse products and processes
- Experience in distribution or warehouse environments with high order volume
