Azure Data Architect Remote – US/ Canada/ Mexico

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Azure AI Cloud Architect. As a key member of our foundational platform initiative for AI and Automation impacting and transforming the business workflows transforming critical businesses and operations across capital markets, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and delivering critical technology components on Microsoft Azure. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong track record of building scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure enterprise AI solutions on Microsoft Azure leveraging Agentic AI and Automation frameworks.
• Lead the design and integration of data pipelines for ingestion, mapping, and extraction from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and UI/UX teams to deliver a high-performing React-based user interface.
• Ensure end-to-end data flow and integrity across the platform, including storage, processing, and access layers.
• Establish best practices for cloud infrastructure, DevOps, ML Ops, and LLM Ops in Azure.
• Champion security, compliance, and governance standards throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack, from data ingestion to front-end delivery.
• Continuously evaluate emerging Azure services and technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) designing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Hand on experience building Gen AI and Agentic AI applications leveraging Gen AI frameworks.
• Strong expertise in architecting data ingestion, mapping, and extraction pipelines for diverse data types (structured, unstructured, semi-structured).
• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Logic Apps, Functions, Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL and related components.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with front-end technologies, especially React.js, and integrating with cloud-based backends.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with specific focus on Infrastructure as Code (IAC) via Terraform. Proficiency in other scripting areas (e.g., PowerShell, Python, ARM templates, Bicep) will be a plus.
• Experience in implementing security, compliance, and governance in AI and cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, drive projects, and deliver high-quality results on schedule.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent.
• Experience with AI/ML workloads and automation frameworks on Azure.
• Background in business processing services or enterprise-scale transformation projects.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory requirements relevant to business processing services.
