General Superintendent

Lead all field operations across large and/or complex construction and technology infrastructure projects
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage project staff, field supervisors, and technicians
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
Oversee project schedules, manpower forecasts, resource allocation, and workload distribution
Monitor project execution to ensure milestones, deadlines, and customer commitments are met
Drive project profitability through labor management, productivity tracking, and budget oversight
Review project costs, invoicing, change orders, collections, and financial reporting for accuracy
Conduct regular site walks and quality inspections to ensure workmanship meets project requirements
Monitor safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture across all job sites
Troubleshoot and resolve field-related technical, operational, and client concerns
Manage project documentation including timesheets, work orders, material transfers, closeout packages, and as-built documentation
Lead operational meetings, field coordination meetings, and project review sessions
Partner with internal teams to improve operational processes, reporting, scheduling, and project delivery efficiency
Oversee vehicle, tool, and equipment inventory management
Ensure successful project turnover and customer satisfaction upon completion

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of supervisory, managerial, or superintendent-level experience overseeing field operations
5+ years of experience in telecommunications, low-voltage, structured cabling, or a related construction/technical environment
3+ years of experience as a Lead Communications Technician, Foreman, Superintendent, or similar field leadership role
Proven ability to manage projects from planning through customer turnover
Experience developing project scopes, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and workforce planning
Strong knowledge of structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure projects
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, construction drawings, and project documentation
Experience managing project profitability, labor productivity, and financial performance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project)
Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned project regions
Ability to work on active construction sites, including climbing ladders, working at heights, lifting up to 50 lbs., and walking large job sites


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience managing large-scale structured cabling, data center, low-voltage, or telecommunications deployments
Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously across a region
Background in estimating, purchasing, warehousing, or operations management
Experience implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies
Familiarity with quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, or other construction safety certifications
Advanced project scheduling and planning experience
Knowledge of copper, fiber optic, and network infrastructure installations
Experience preparing red-lined drawings and project closeout documentation
Strong customer-facing experience supporting enterprise, commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or mission-critical clients
