**Position/Specialty:** ICU/MS/ED FLOAT POOL RN **Experience Required:** - 2 years of experience required. - First-time travelers not accepted; prior travel experience required. **Certifications Required:** - ACLS - BLS - PALS **Certifications Preferred:** - NIH - TNCC **Licensure:** - Must have state/compact license in hand. - Pending License accepted; compact accepted. **Skills Required:** - Para/thoracentesis - Intubation - Central line placement - Arterial line placement - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Care of ventilated patients **Additional Skills:** - Accessing/Managing Ports - Arterial line management - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood Product Administration - Chronic/Acute Renal failure - Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade - Continuous IV sedation - CVA/Acute Stroke management - Emergency Medications - GI surgery - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - ICP monitoring - Infection Prevention - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Isolation Precautions/PPE - IV insulin protocols - Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG - Phlebotomy - PICC line management - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Starting and maintaining IVs - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips **Experience with Charting System:** - Required; specific charting system name not provided. - Experience with Paragon and Practice Partner preferred. **Additional Requirements:** - Two supervisor references obtained within the last 18 months required for submission. **Other Notes:** - Flu shot required during flu season (October 1 - March 31).
