Legal Billing Specialist
We are seeking a Legal Billing Specialist with a strong legal background , such as prior experience in a law firm, paralegal role, or legal collections environment. This position focuses on managing pastdue accounts while maintaining professionalism, compliance, and strong documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities of the Legal Billing Specialist:
- Handle outbound and inbound collection efforts on assigned accounts
- Work with contracts, legal documentation, and account records
- Communicate with customers regarding balances, payment arrangements, and followups
- Track activity, correspondence, and outcomes with strong attention to detail
- Collaborate with internal teams and follow established legal and compliance guidelines
- 1+ years of experience in legal collections , a law firm , or paralegalrelated role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detailoriented with excellent followup and organization
- Professional, composed approach to collections (nonaggressive)
- Experience with case management or CRM systems is a plus
This role is ideal for someone with legal exposure who enjoys structured, detaildriven collections work in a professional setting.
