MECKLEY SERVICES, INC., IS LOOKING FOR AN ASSISTANT COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM AND SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION WHILE PROVIDING OVERSIGHT ON PROJECTS.

An Assistant Project Manager’s responsibilities include coordinating with different departments to ensure projects are completed on time. This role is also responsible for performing administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, building estimates and scheduling meetings as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.
• Keep track of and report on project progress
• Complete any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager orderly and efficiently
• Contract administration and permit tracking
• Compile invoices
• Manage Change Order Logs and Sub-contract Change Order Tracking
• Assist with RFI and submitting and tracking – Job Cost Reporting – Project Close-Out
• Help prepare estimates with average value of $1000+
• Assist PM with overall day to day duties

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software and job cost tracking software (Service Titan preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints
• Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience working for a construction contractor preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass a criminal background screening, drug test, and driver's license check.
