Retail Associate

Hourly C-store / Retail EmployeeThe Hourly C-store / Retail Employee's main responsibility is to provide quality customer service to store patrons while ensuring the inside and outside of the facility is clean and well maintained. This includes but is not limited to assisting customers, stocking inventory, store housekeeping, unloading of deliveries, and other duties as required.Responsibilities:Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees alwaysProvides outstanding and courteous customer serviceRead and follow company employee policiesContinuously follows the safety guidelines and safety programs established for the C-StoreFlexibility in work hours and shift assignments may be requiredAbility to understand and carry out instructionsComplete daily paperworkOperate cash register and other company equipment as neededRecords sales transactions and receives payments for the transactionsGreets customers in a friendly manner and helps them in finding products or services of the C-StoreRe-stocks shelves, displays, and food service itemsKeeps all product dispensing equipment and service areas orderly and cleanPerforms all assigned inside and outside housekeeping dutiesAssist with prep work of main kitchen, associated areas, and preparing orders when neededShow up when your shift is to begin and work the assigned hours of the shiftOther duties may be assignedSupervisory Responsibilities - This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Requirements:Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Mathematical Skills:Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
