What You'll Work On

You’ll be at the heart of a dedicated MRI department, focused on:

• Routine and advanced MRI examinations
• Inpatient and outpatient imaging studies
• Clinical workflows that keep the MRI suite running efficiently
• Patient positioning, comfort, and safety in the magnet
• Image quality that supports accurate diagnosis
• Radiological technology aligned with regulatory standards
• Safety procedures in high magnetic field environments
• Collaboration with clinical and support staff

You’ll work within a clean, well-lit, well-ventilated MRI environment with strong safety protocols and ongoing training.

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing MRI procedures to support efficient operation of the MRI department
• Applying your radiologic training to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Positioning patients and operating MRI equipment safely in high magnetic fields
• Maintaining patient comfort and professionalism, even in unpleasant or challenging clinical situations
• Standing, walking, and lifting medium to heavy weights throughout the shift
• Following all MRI safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself
• Attending required safety training and regulatory training programs
• Identifying and rectifying job-related safety hazards in your areas of responsibility
• Handling potential exposure to blood and body fluids using appropriate precautions
• Supporting a smooth, efficient second-shift MRI operation (3p–11p)

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma
• Satisfactory completion of formal training in an approved school of Radiological Technology
• Certification by ARRT or by ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
• A minimum of six months of prior MRI training or work experience
• Ability to work safely in high magnetic field environments without conditions aggravated by magnetic fields
• Comfort working around blood, body fluids, and medically complex patients
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift medium to heavy weights for most of the day
• Commitment to attending and applying all required safety and regulatory training
