Roadway Programs Coordinator

The position supports administrative, budgetary, and technical functions essential to roadway programs. As a Roadway Programs Coordinator, you will perform the following duties: Work Planning: Develop annual work plans and monitor progress using system reports Budget Management: Manage county budget activities and advise on funding decisions Safety Oversight: Ensure proper work zone setups and encourage safe practices for all crews Signage Review: Evaluate signage conditions and respond to related concerns throughout the county Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of materials and oversee stockpile management Staff Direction: Supervise clerical and technical staff, as well as coordinate daily operations Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Specialist or Roadway Programs Technician Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Three years of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and an associate's degree in a field of business administration, computer science, highway engineering technology or closely related program; or One year of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or civil engineering related discipline; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
