Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical, Surgical, and Trauma ICU setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (Medical, Surgical, and/or Trauma) within the last 3 years
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms required)
• Must meet local traveler rule: primary residence must be 50+ miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity trauma and surgical ICU patient populations
