Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years or 3 years of Tele. Telemetry, post-op cath care, cardiac drips with titration, management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of dysrhythmias.

Unit Details: T3 Cardio floor with an MS/Tele - Card/Pulm specialty. Common diagnoses/treatments include stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents, and med-surg. Equipment includes Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling and portable Hoyer lifts, portable cardiac monitoring, transport defibrillators, EKG machine, and Omnicell.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float to all units except M3; helping hands in ER.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required for submission
