Seeking a skilled Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated middle school team in Boulder, CO. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students, while working in a supportive environment alongside experienced professionals, including paraeducators, a BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and Psych/SW support staff. The classroom setup includes 10 students, with opportunities for creative peer mentorship.

This is a W2 hourly contract role, scheduled ASAP through May 21, 2027, totaling 37.5 hours per week (including 2.5 hours of unpaid lunches, with 35 paid hours). Travel professionals are invited to apply and be part of an inclusive academic setting focused on growth and collaboration.

Key qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of classroom experience
• Experience with middle school populations preferred
• Must be either licensed through the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) or in process (TEEs are not eligible)
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with paraeducators and related service providers (BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, Psych/SW)
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Engage and mentor peer support participants
• Manage IEP goals, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Communicate effectively with families and the educational team

For this opportunity, compensation ranges from $40 to $44 per hour, and comprehensive health insurance is available.
