Join this incredible team and company!!Test TechnicianThe Test Technician is responsible for building, maintaining, and operating test stands tovalidate the performance, reliability, and safety of industrial refrigerated chillers andCooling Distribution Units (CDUs). This role supports manufacturing and engineering byexecuting test plans, collecting accurate data, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining asafe, organized laboratory environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Stand Build & Maintenance Assemble, plumb, wire, and commission test stands for liquid-to-air and liquid-to-liquid chiller systems and CDUs Install and configure pumps, heat exchangers, valves, sensors, instrumentation,controls, and data acquisition systems Modify and improve test fixtures as needed to support new products or testrequirements Maintain test equipment, calibration status, and spare parts inventoryProduct Testing & Validation Execute functional, performance, endurance, and safety tests according to testplans and procedures Operate refrigeration systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators,expansion devices, and control systems Monitor and record temperatures, pressures, flow rates, power consumption, andother critical parameters Identify, troubleshoot, and document test failures or anomalies; collaborate withengineering and manufacturing teams on root cause and corrective actions Ensure tests are conducted safely and in compliance with internal proceduresand applicable standardsDocumentation & Reporting Accurately document test setups, procedures, results, and observations Maintain test logs, data files, and reports in designated systems Provide clear feedback to engineering and manufacturing regarding testoutcomes and product performanceLab Upkeep, Tools & Safety Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient test laboratory Manage tools, test equipment, and consumables; ensure proper storage andavailability Follow and enforce lab safety practices including lockout/tagout, electrical safety,pressure systems, refrigerant handling, and PPE requirements Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement oflab safety proceduresQualificationsRequired 2+ years of experience as a test technician, manufacturing technician, or similarrole in an industrial or laboratory environment Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, plumbing, and basic electricalwiring Familiarity with any of the following, refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment,pumps, heat exchangers, and fluid systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and testprocedures Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detailPreferred Experience testing industrial chillers, CDUs, or similar thermal managementequipment Knowledge of instrumentation such as thermocouples, RTDs, pressuretransducers, flow meters, and power meters Experience with data acquisition systems and basic controls (PLC or HMIexposure a plus) EPA refrigerant handling certification or willingness to obtainSkills & Competencies Mechanical and electrical aptitude Safe work practices and strong safety awareness Organization and time management Clear written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional teamPhysical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with hand and power tools Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work around industrial equipment for extendedperiods Work performed in a manufacturing and laboratory environment with exposure tonoise, pressurized systems, and electrical equipmentAdditional InformationThis position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, performance, and safetyprior to release to customers.
