Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mood disorder symptoms, analyzing their severity, frequency, and duration to establish a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.

  • Provide educational materials and support sessions to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders and strategies for self-care.

  • Regularly monitor clients' progress in therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs and feedback.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts, reflecting your commitment to professional standards in mental health practice.
