Role Summary:

As a Seasonal Relationship Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for partner clients during peak tax season, supporting them throughout the full engagement lifecycle from job submission through e-filing. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless client experiences, maintaining strong relationships, and driving successful outcomes for both our partners and their end clients. This role requires strong client management skills, problem-solving ability, and a working knowledge of tax or accounting concepts, for the duration of the January–April filing season.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned taxpayer clients, serving as their trusted point of contact.
• Guide clients through the full engagement process, ensuring smooth job submission, processing, and e-filing.
• Monitor account activity to proactively identify issues, address concerns, and ensure timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with the Partner Experience and internal support teams to deliver a seamless, consistent client journey.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and outcomes in CRM systems.
• Track and report on key client performance metrics to support team and organizational goals.
• Escalate complex or high-priority issues to the Manager, Client Success while maintaining ownership of communication with the client.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process enhancements.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage client expectations.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities.
• Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle confidential client tax information with discretion and a strong commitment to protecting client privacy in line with our security and data privacy policies.
• This is a seasonal, hourly position running from January through the end of April 2027. We are seeking candidates who can work for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Nice to Have (not required):

• Proficiency in CRMs and customer success platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Experience with tax or accounting software platforms (e.g., Drake, ProConnect, Intuit Tax Online, or similar).
• Prior experience in a SaaS or marketplace platform environment.
• Experience using data or reporting tools to track client health metrics (e.g., Salesforce reports, HubSpot dashboards, Looker, or similar).
• 1+ years of client relationship, account management, or customer success experience — ideally within tech, SaaS, finance, or tax preferred but not required.
• Foundational knowledge of tax, accounting, or financial services is a plus but not required.
