Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours/week with 24 hours guaranteed, every other weekend

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced life support as needed
• Float to Med Surg/Tele units when required, sharing your expertise across the hospital
• Document patient progress accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ICU/CCU experience (required)
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience (required)
• Must be willing to float to Med Surg/Tele when needed
• EPIC experience required – be sure to note proficiency on your profile
• Previous travel experience required
• Must have own reliable vehicle
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care skills including ventilator management and cardiac monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
• BLS and ACLS certified (current required)
