Pay Rate

Traveler: $60- $66

Local: $55- $60

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide rapid assessment, emergency care, and support for trauma, stroke, and medical emergency patients.

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License.

• Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience.

• ED experience within the last 6 months required.

• ASN required; BSN preferred.

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Telemetry competency required.

• Epic ASAP ED experience required.

• 8 Stroke CEUs and 4 Trauma CEUs required.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and comprehensive emergency patient assessments.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized emergency nursing care plans.

• Provide care for trauma, stroke, and medical emergency patients.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage emergency interventions.

• Document patient care accurately using Epic ASAP ED.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.

• Float to the 12-bed Satellite Emergency Department as required.

• Participate in every other weekend and winter holiday coverage.
