What You’ll Do As an Excavation Apprentice / Pipe Layer, you’ll work alongside experienced excavation crews, plumbers, and equipment operators installing and repairing underground water, sewer, and drainage systems. Every day is hands‑on, active, and different from the last. Assist with trenching, pipe installation, and backfilling Safely use hand tools and excavation equipment Set trench boxes and follow jobsite safety procedures Read measurements, grades, and layout plans Operate lasers and learn underground utility systems Keep jobsites organized, efficient, and professional Work as part of a tight‑knit crew that has each other’s backs What We’re Looking For We care more about attitude than experience.
