Forklift/Yard Material Mover

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift/Yard Material Mover to join their team. As a Forklift/Yard Material Mover, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting yard management and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift/Yard Material Mover

Location: Fishkill, NY

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm, with half-day on Saturday

What's the Job?

• Disassemble and repair pallets to ensure proper storage and transportation
• Keep weekly count of pallets using designated forms, recording various sizes
• Assist yard personnel with diverse tasks to maintain smooth yard operations
• Shrink-wrap products securely for shipment and storage
• Operate forklifts and other yard equipment as needed

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, pulling, and pushing
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be 21 years or older and able to pass pre-employment drug testing
• Forklift-operator certification is a plus
