Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule: 12hr Nights

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- Active RN license required in the state
- 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Current certifications: BLS required, NHISS needed prior to start, ACLS preferred
- EMR experience preferred: Cerner
- 1-2 years minimum medical-surgical experience is necessary
- Must take a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting
- Assess patient health problems and needs
- Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and care plans
