Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care (IMC), and Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing evidence-based practice in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General medicine, and Oncology units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with hospital policies.
• Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms, and vital signs, ensuring accurate records within the EPIC system.
• Respond to patient needs promptly and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of infection control and safety while working in a fast-paced, trauma Level 1 environment.
• Wear Royal Blue Scrubs and adhere to the facility's professional appearance standards.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license with willingness to wait for submission.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a Level 1 trauma setting preferred.
• Certification in BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Proficient in working in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, and Trauma care settings.
• Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility.
