About the Position

Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year required, first-time travelers not accepted License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Moderate sedation, Pre/intra/post care Description: The RN will work in the Cath Lab. The unit is a Level 3 Trauma center and a certified Chest Pain Center. Patient types and common diagnoses will be discussed during the interview. Support will be provided by department leadership. Technology used includes EMR: EPIC, IV Pump: Alaris, and medication dispensing system: Omnicell. There will be a weekend rotation and call requirements that will be discussed during the interview. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays. All skills required for the position will be discussed during the interview, including those specific to the Cath Lab. Scrub color will also be discussed in the interview.
