Specialty Pharmacist High-Impact Therapies
Specialty pharmacy is one of the fastest-growing areas in healthcare. Support patients on complex therapies for oncology, autoimmune, and rare diseases. Many roles offer remote or hybrid flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify specialty medication prescriptions with precision and care.
- Provide counseling and ongoing support for patients managing complex or chronic conditions.
- Monitor therapy effectiveness, adherence, and barriers to successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with prescribers, nurses, payers, and case managers to coordinate care.
- Stay current on specialty drug pipelines, REMS programs, and new therapies.
What You'll Bring
- Education: PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
- Licensure: Active U.S. pharmacist license (all states encouraged).
- Experience: Hospital, specialty, or community preferred. New graduates and pharmacists from other settings are welcome.
- Skills: Strong communication, patient education, and ability to manage high-touch, high-cost therapies.
