Requirements
- At least one year of warehouse, shipping, logistics, or production experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify shipment discrepancies
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
- Ability to work in a loud, non-temperature-controlled warehouse
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures
Job Duties
- Apply protective materials to outbound shipments
- Follow packaging and load-securement instructions
- Inspect freight for quality, accuracy, and documentation compliance
- Accept or reject loaded trailers based on established standards
- Verify securement materials and applicable expiration dates
- Apply appropriate mats for domestic and export shipments
- Confirm the correct products and trailer numbers
- Inspect trailers for damage, contamination, and debris
- Complete warehouse and shipping documentation
- Photograph secured, completed, and sealed trailers
- Report quality or trailer concerns to management
- Coordinate with dock managers, supervisors, office staff, and drivers
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
