Overview Support Services (EVS) Supervisor – Full-Time, Overnight Shift (11 pm – 7 am) with Weekend and Holidays Rotating Schedule. Located at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Manager of Environmental Services/Linen Services, coordinate the distribution activities of the Linen Services Department and supervise department operations to ensure clean, orderly, timely delivery of clean linen and collection of soil returns. Distribute work assignments and recommend the need for additional equipment. Provide leadership that fosters consistency, results and personalized service across the hospital. Serve as a liaison to medical staff and ensure high levels of cleanliness, safety and hospitality for patients and employees. Qualifications Preferred Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree; Leadership experience. Required Criteria: Associates Degree; Minimum two years of previous work-related experience; Basic knowledge of EVS and laundry (preferably in a large institution); Solid interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent supervisory skills; Familiarity with computers and MS Office; Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards and Quality Assurance; Competency in carrying on staff HR responsibilities. Work Details This position runs on an overnight schedule (11 pm – 7 am) with weekends and holiday rotation, and coverage for supervisor staff on other shifts when necessary. Location NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center Compensation Salary Range: $74,000 – $111,000 per year. Benefits & Notes NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
