Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry - Nights
Location: New Lenox, IL

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a local Med Surg/Telemetry assignment in New Lenox, IL. This opportunity offers a supportive clinical environment, strong ancillary support, and the chance to work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a high-quality acute care setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry equipment

• Administer cardiac drips and manage post-surgical patient care

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional nursing standards

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

• Supervise and support CNAs and other assigned healthcare staff

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry

• Shift: Nights

• Patient Ratio: 1:6-7

• EMR System: Cerner

• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric

• Trauma Level II Facility

• Free Parking Available

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required

• Stepdown experience required

• Experience with telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, and post-surgical care required

• Active Illinois RN License required at time of submission

• BLS/CPR (AHA) required

• ACLS required

• NIHSS certification required

• Illinois Nurse Agency License documentation required
