Job Description Own Databricks workspace provisioning & setup Define how workspaces are created, configured, and standardized across environments Perform platform configuration and environment management Cluster policies, compute setup, networking integrations Lead data source onboarding & discovery Evaluate new sources and define ingestion patterns Configure and integrate Databricks with Azure services: ADLS, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, etc. Implement and maintain security, RBAC, and governance policies Automate infrastructure using Terraform + CI/CD pipelines Leverage AI coding tools / copilots to accelerate scripting, automation, and platform workflows Monitor platform performance and optimize for cost, scale, and reliability Support data engineering teams by enabling pipelines (platform enablement vs heavy coding) Translate business and technical requirements into scalable platform solutions We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements Strong hands-on experience administering Azure Databricks in enterprise environments Proven experience with workspace provisioning and configuration (not just support) Deep knowledge of Azure services Experience managing: Databricks workspaces, clusters, SQL Warehouses Compute optimization and cost management Strong experience with Terraform (IaC): Provisioning Databricks workspaces and Azure infrastructure Automating environment setup and configuration Experience implementing: RBAC / access controls Governance frameworks (Unity Catalog preferred) Experience onboarding new data sources and enabling ingestion Ability to work cross-functionally with data engineering and app teams Experience using AI coding tools / agents: Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT (code generation, automation workflows, etc.) Databricks Certifications (Platform Admin preferred) Experience with: MLflow, Delta Live Tables, Databricks Workflows Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Exposure to AI-enabled platform automation or developer productivity tooling #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
