Job Summary:
The outpatient clinics float nurse position is located in Aspen, Colorado. This role involves providing professional nursing care and performing administrative support functions in various outpatient clinics including cardiology, endocrinology, ENT, general surgery, ophthalmology, pain management, primary care, and rheumatology. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. Flexibility to float between clinics and the ability to function safely at high altitudes are essential.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Outpatient clinic experience, associate degree in nursing (ADN), unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are also required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in nursing (BSN/MSN), 2 years of PCU/ICU/CCU experience, 2 years of emergency department experience, experience with EMR systems such as EPIC, bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Additional Information: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing, with housing costs in surrounding areas being approximately $3,500/month for a one-bedroom apartment. Must be healthy enough to operate safely at approximately 8,000 feet elevation. No time off (RTO) is accepted for this assignment.
