Tax Engagement Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Engagement Leadership: Lead tax engagements and ensure timely delivery of services to meet client needs.
• Client Advisory: Manage client relationships and provide exceptional service, including tax planning strategies based on current laws and regulations.
• Compliance Oversight: Oversee business and entity tax compliance engagements, particularly for clients within the construction industry.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve complex tax issues through research and collaboration.
• Team Mentorship: Review work prepared by staff and provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to support their professional growth.
• Process Improvement: Utilize technology and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax services.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification: CPA certification with an active license.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of public accounting tax experience.
• Industry Expertise: Significant experience working specifically with construction industry clients.
• Skills: Strong expertise in business and entity tax compliance, coupled with the ability to provide strategic tax advisory services.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Compensation: Base Salary - USD $130,000 to $200,000
