Behavioral Health Clinician (I or II) - School-Based Health Centers, Supervision Available

Position Overview MaineHealth Behavioral Health – Professional Clinical (Req #: 72316). Offering up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus (eligible only for non‑current employees; prorated based on schedule). Part‑time, 20 hours per week, day shift. Full‑time opportunities may be matched within the Behavioral Health Integration Program. Role Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician for the School‑Based Health Center at Boothbay Regional High School and Elementary School, located at 236 Townsend Ave, Boothbay Harbor. Provide screening, assessments, and focused brief treatment to students using the health center. Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions. Offer curbside consultation to medical providers and link students to additional services. Participate in population health activities targeting specific student groups. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to reduce stigma and improve student engagement. Engage in quarterly training and receive individual and group supervision. Qualifications Applicants should hold a master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or a related field. Licensure: Conditional licensure (LMSW‑cc, LCPC‑c, LMFT‑c) for Level I; full licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) for Level II. Experience: Level I – behavioral health experience, including internship, as a conditionally licensed clinician. Level II – at least two years of behavioral health experience post‑licensure. Comfort working with children, adolescents, and families; interest in treating substance use disorders preferred.
