Job Description
Title
Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule
Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
Every other holiday and every other weekend.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Normal

Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Experience in Medsurg, Swing Bed, or PCU care as applicable
- Familiarity with medication administration and patient care protocols

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for individuals on Medsurg, Swing Bed, and PCU units.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient safety.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Engage in the unit's committee activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Compliance / Notes
No on-call requirements.
Engagement in committees is encouraged.
