Senior Business & Mortgage Lending Officer

Are you an experienced lender who enjoys helping businesses grow while also assisting members with their home financing needs?

1st Community Credit Union, a mid size credit union in Southwest Wisconsin, is seeking a senior experienced relationship focused Loan Officer to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to develop and manage business lending relationships while also supporting residential mortgage lending throughout our 14 county field of membership.

Our team is committed to delivering personalized financial solutions while building lasting relationships within the communities we serve. We have three branch locations that you'll have the opportunity to meet members for their financial needs.

As a member of our lending team, you will work alongside three lenders and receive support from dedicated underwriting and loan processing professional, allowing you to focus on relationship building, business development, and giving an exceptional member experience.

• Develop and manage business lending relationships with new and existing business members

• Analyze commercial loan requests and structure lending solutions that meet member needs while maintaining sound credit quality

• Identify opportunities for business lending, commercial real estate financing, equipment financing, lines of credit, and other business products

• Assist new and existing members with residential mortgage financing needs, including purchase, refinance, construction, and home equity lending

• Build referral relationships with local businesses, real estate professionals, accountants, attorneys, and community organizations

• Work with programs including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, USDA, VA, FHA, and business lending portfolios

• Present loan requests and recommendations for approval

• Maintain a high level of member service throughout the lending process

• Represent 1st Community Credit Union at community and business events

• A minimum of 6 years of lending experience

• Strong business lending experience

• Experience originating residential mortgage loans

• Proven ability to develop and maintain member relationships

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams

• A desire to lead, mentor others, and contribute at a senior level
