Temporary Optometrist Position in Temecula and Murrieta

Are you a passionate optometrist looking for a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a private practice setting? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team on a temporary basis. Located in the beautiful cities of Temecula and Murrieta, CA, we are a multi-location private practice dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to our community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for new grads or experienced optometrists to enhance their skills and work in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team temporarily from June to November 2026 . This role offers the flexibility of working 1 to 4 days per week , depending on the needs of the practice. You’ll have the chance to work across multiple locations, gaining hands-on experience in a thriving private practice.

As an Optometrist, you will:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess patients’ vision and overall eye health.
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions with a focus on patient care.
- Provide personalized recommendations for eyewear and contact lenses.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and a valid license to practice in California.
- At least 1 year of experience in optometry (new grads are welcome to apply!).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with patients and team members.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
