Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment. Responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival to identify immediate care needs and prioritize interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical directives.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions following established protocols and standards.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs, nursing attendants, and technicians, ensuring adherence to care plans.
• Observe, evaluate, document, and communicate patient responses to interventions and evolving conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuous treatment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state registration.
• 2-3 years of ER or Trauma Center experience.
• Proficient in managing ventilator, tracheostomy, and gastrostomy tubes, as well as medication titration.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Stroke certification required.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
