This role will require strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.Principal Duties and Essential Functions:Lead internal audits to ensure compliance with quality systems and processes.Participate in Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.Conduct investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and address quality issues.Coordinating and facilitating closure of nonconformance recordsCreate standard work and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.Review and approve documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality requirements.Coordinate the creation of Product Release/CoC documentation to ensure timely release of products.Participate in calibrations coordination to ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.Performs any other function or responsibility as assignedAdditional Required Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field or equivalent experienceTwo years of experience in a quality assurance or related roleStrong understanding of quality systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON GOVERNMENT CONTRACTSAdditional Preferred Qualifications/Skills:ASQ certification or equivalentFamiliarity with applicable regulatory requirementsExperience with Lean six sigma methodologies
