Data and IT Specialist

Salary: $60,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least one year of demonstrated experience in data and/or IT systems management.
• We need strong knowledge of word processing, data programs, reporting tools, data analysis, spreadsheets, and related software systems.
• We prefer a bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university, ideally in Computer Science or Data Analytics/Science, or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• We note that a bachelors degree is preferred.
• We list 2 years of experience in Computer Science or Data Analytics/Science as required.
• Our positions are subject to a DCF Level II background screening, Office of Inspector General screening, and reference check.

• We partner closely with Carisk and network providers to resolve data questions and issues, and we keep the Vice President of Data Performance and Technology informed of critical concerns.
• We participate in regular meetings with Carisk staff and coordinate ongoing collaboration.
• We work with Michell Consulting, our managed services provider, to manage projects and initiatives related to network, equipment, and end-user issues.
• We monitor open tickets and join weekly status meetings with Michell representatives.
• We support the Vice President of Data Performance and Technology in compiling and preparing reports, including the annual Inventory, Block Grant Report, DCF Template 11 Monthly Report, HB633 Quality Indicators, and other requested reports.
• We serve as WITS administrator, helping network providers with user access, facility setup, grant access, and communication with DCF regarding reports and tickets.
• We assist providers, review ODMS summaries received from DCF, and help coordinate communications, meetings, and assignments among DCF, Carisk, and providers.
• We monitor, review, and analyze performance measure data across the network and help prepare presentations for the management team to support review and continuous quality improvement decisions.
• We contribute as a team member on complex projects and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders across the network.
• We manage multiple priorities at once and maintain effective organization.
• We develop and deploy data queries, or coordinate those requests with Carisk, in response to department, internal, and provider needs.
• We maintain website posts and social media platform updates.
• We review provider logo approval requests and work collaboratively to process DCF logo approvals.
• We create the Thriving Mind annual report.
• We perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

We are Thriving Mind South Florida, and we are hiring a detail-oriented, proactive Data and IT Specialist to support our data and technology operations. This role is a key liaison between our Data Performance and Technology Department, network providers, our managed services provider, our data management provider, and internal staff. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Data Performance and Technology and offers a hybrid remote work location in Miami, FL 33126. The salary range is $60,000 to $65,000 per year, and our benefits include dental, health, life, vision, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
