Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Veteran Disability Assessments

Our organization is in search of a committed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to become a vital part of our team, focusing on medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process through the VA. This position entails performing targeted, in-person physical examinations and electronically reviewing medical records to fulfill the necessary documentation for the VA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Examine and interpret electronic medical records via a secure online portal.
• Thoroughly document examination results and complete the required VA paperwork.
• Offer medical insights based on your evaluation findings.

Important: This position does not include treatment or medication prescribing. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is responsible for making disability determinations, not the provider.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: 3-5 Veterans daily.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.
