Responsibilities

Perform ordered CT exams across the assigned caseload, including emergent studies when assigned

Administer oral and IV contrast per orders and facility protocol, monitoring patients during and after injection

Operate CT equipment, selecting approved protocols and applying dose-optimization and ALARA radiation-safety standards

Capture diagnostic-quality images and complete reconstructions per protocol, providing finished studies to radiologists

Travel CT Tech Requirements:

2+ years of recent CT Tech experience.

Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Florida and national regulatory bodies.

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 516-bed acute care hospital in Atlantis, Florida, in Palm Beach County, with a 42-bed inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Center for patients recovering from major illness, injury, or surgery.

An inpatient rehab caseload of stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic recovery, and acute cardiac patients

A multidisciplinary team of physiatry (PM&R) physicians, rehabilitation nurses, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists

Physical therapy for balance, gait, and strength; occupational therapy for self-care and fine-motor skills; speech therapy for communication, cognition, and swallowing

Private rooms, a therapy gym, and a home-care area where patients practice daily tasks before discharge
