Your Key Responsibilities Family Office Advisory Services is unique in that you will be tasked with supporting the legacy of the family by protecting, improving and growing the family’s financial, social and human capital. Depending on your unique skills and ambitions, you could be managing various responsibilities, from consulting and advising clients who include high-profile individuals of extremely high net worth with expectations to match. You will review family office current governance, operations and technology systems, decisions and processes through interviews of key personnel, external advisors and family members. You will become a trusted advisor to your clients and a role model for our people across multiple teams, making this a great place to develop a diverse network of collaborative colleagues. Whatever you find yourself doing, you’ll personally coach and develop a highly trained team, all while handling activities with a focus on quality and commercial value. The role offers the opportunity to guide and supervise professional employees or others to deliver complex technical initiatives, with accountability for performance and results. You’ll apply your depth of expertise to interpret internal and external issues, recommend quality solutions, and meet performance objectives and metrics in client service, risk management, sales, and business growth. Regular travel may be required to meet client needs, and you’ll actively participate in client working sessions. Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: Develop solutions to complex problems. Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect your immediate work area and possibly the broader business function. Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Track record of meeting performance objectives and metrics in client service, risk management, sales, and business growth. To qualify for the role, you must have Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, supported by experience in project management, operations, technology, and implementation initiatives CPA or Bar membership Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services environment Experience working in a family office environment, with family-owned businesses, or within financial services organizations, including investment management, private banking, or fund administration Understanding of partnership and fund accounting concepts in complex, multi-tiered ownership structures Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements across entity types, including partnerships, trusts, individuals, and foundations Understanding of wealth planning, estate planning, portfolio management, investment operations, risk management, and performance reporting for high-net-worth individuals and families Experience with business process improvement, technology-enabled transformation, and systems implementation initiatives Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders Experience leading and developing teams in a complex, client-service environment Ability to operate effectively across diverse cultures, perspectives, and business environments Ability to travel approximately 50% Ideally you will also have A proven record in working with high net-worth individuals and their investments Financial software systems experience especially with requirements definition, systems selection and implementation An understanding of business operations within family office or closely held business environment The ability to translate complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables Experience leveraging technology to improve business processes and solve operational challenges. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $106,500 to $195,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $127,700 to $221,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
