About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Sioux City, Iowa, 51101!

• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and care for medical-surgical and nephrology patients.
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips .
• Monitor cardiac patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Document patient care in Cerner EMR .
• Educate patients and families on treatments and discharge plans.
• Float to other units or local campuses within the same nursing specialty if needed.
• Maintain BLS and mandatory reporting compliance.

• BLS Certification .
• Mandatory Reporter Certification .
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience .
• Deep cardiac experience (required).
